Curriculum content

  • This course emphasizes the need for ethical behavior by all employees and helps provide insight into common problems or issues employees may face and tips on how to deal with them appropriately.  The course also addresses the importance and need for employees to understand the culture of ethics and compliance we have set at Mistras.

  • A short course that contains 10 tips for successfully using eFront.
  • This training covers MISTRAS’ Human Rights and Labor Practices Policy. Upon completion of the training  employees will have a comprehensive understanding of MISTRAS’ expectations with respect to human rights, labor practices, and the high standard of conduct to which our employees are held.
  • This course gives an overview of bloodborne pathogens, and the dangers associated with exposure to them, explains how to prevent exposure and how to respond to a potential exposure.
  • The goal of this introductory course is to make all employees aware of the potential hazards that may exist in a confined space and understand that special precautions, training, and an approved Confined Space Entry Permit or approved Routine Entry Procedures are required for entry.
  • Each employee will recognize their employer's responsibilities for communicating the emergency action plan, list their responsibilities in the action plan, identify requirements for alarm systems, recognize the elements of the fire prevention plan, and state responsibilities for responding to weather related disasters, natural disasters, bomb threats, fire, workplace violence, and hazardous material incidents.
  • The goal of this introductory course is to enable the employee to correctly apply the principles of hazard recognition, risk management, and rights and responsibilities when working in areas where noise is a hazard.
  • The goal of this course is to ensure that employees are qualified and properly trained in the use and maintenance of respirators.
